White plate paper is a kind of outer packaging paper, which is used for printing various trademarks and packaging cartons. Due to the relatively uniform fiber structure of white board paper, the surface layer has filler and rubber components, and the surface is coated with a certain amount of paint. Multi-roll calendering treatment, so the texture of the cardboard is relatively tight, and the thickness is relatively uniform. The paper surface is generally whiter and smoother, with more uniform ink absorption, less dusting and hair loss on the surface, stronger paper quality and better folding resistance, but its water content is higher , generally around 10%, there is a certain degree of flexibility, which will have a certain impact on printing. White board paper has 220, 240, 250, 280, 300, 350, 400 (g/m2); the paper is relatively thick and the color of the front and back is different. The white board paper is gray on one side and white on the other, also known as gray bottom coated white.

The properties of whiteboard paper generally refer to its printability suitable for printing. The printability of whiteboard paper includes: the pore structure and ink absorption of the paper; the smoothness and compressibility of the paper; the surface strength of the paper; the acidity and alkalinity of the paper. The moisture content and elasticity of the paper and the paper.

Including some of its performance characteristics in the process of transportation and storage. And its printability refers to the comprehensive reflection of physical and chemical properties that should be possessed in duplicating a certain quality of printed matter under necessary conditions. The nature of the whiteboard paper must reflect the best print quality and color effects. During the operation of the drum, the ink adsorbed on the printing plate can be smoothly transferred to the surface of the paper, and a complete, full, clear and rich graphic imprint can be obtained. Whiteboard paper has a porous structure, and the porous structure of whiteboard paper determines that the paper has air permeability, hygroscopicity, absorbency and compressibility, which is the basis for paper to absorb water, ink and other substances. In order to ensure better printing quality and printing effect, printing paper is required to have better ink absorption. The ink absorption of the whiteboard paper refers to the property that the ink penetrates into the whiteboard paper and is absorbed after the paper is in contact with the ink and the ink is transferred to the surface of the paper. The larger the porosity of the paper, the looser the structure, the more ink it absorbs, and vice versa, which is why we often say that the ink absorption of white board paper is poor.

The white paper is composed of inner pulp and flour pulp, the flour pulp is white, and the inner pulp is generally the true color of the raw material. According to the paper surface, the white paper can be divided into two categories: powder white paper and ordinary white paper. According to the bottom layer, there are two kinds of gray bottom and white bottom. The quality requirements of white plate paper: white, smooth, consistent thickness, firm texture, no powder shedding, and uniform ink absorption performance, small expansion and contraction, toughness, and no breakage when bending.

It is mainly used for printing packaging boxes and product decoration backing paper. In book binding, it is used for binding materials such as the inner cover of the simple hardcover book and the radial paper (ridge) in the hardcover book.
