Common materials and classification of printed packaging boxes

Packaging boxes, mostly paper box products folded from face paper or corrugated paper (pit paper/reinforced paper), are mainly used for packaging various products, such as small household appliances, food, beverages, electronics, cosmetics, clothing, toys, tea and wine,etc.

According to common materials, packaging box printing is divided into: cardboard, corrugated paper (pit paper), and high-quality packaging boxes.

1. Cardboard: mostly 250/300/350/400/450g;

2. Corrugated paper: mostly e/f pits for reinforcement, and the surface paper is mostly 250g gray bottom white paper;

3. High-quality packaging box: it is made of gray board, and it is more than 600g, which is relatively strong. If you want to be stronger, you can use 950/1200/1500g gray boards. Of course, you can also mount two 600g gray boards to form 1200g double gray boards.

As mentioned above, the printing materials of packaging boxes are divided into two categories: face paper and pit paper. Usually, the commonly used packaging box surface papers are: gray paper, gray copper, cupronickel, single copper, gorgeous card, gold card, silver card, laser card, kraft paper, etc.

The material of colored paper

There are two types of "white boards": 1. Double copper paper, 2. Single copper paper. What they have in common is that both sides are white. The difference is "nickel copper": one side is smooth and the other is not smooth, that is, one side has a coated side and the other side has no coated side. The popular point is that the front side can be printed, but the reverse side cannot be printed.

"Double Copper Paper": There are coated surfaces on both sides, and both sides can be printed. Gray bottom gray board has this kind of paper, but it is not used on color boxes, gray bottom white board, it is the so-called "grey copper paper", that is, the front side is white and can be printed, and the reverse side is gray and cannot be printed. The general white card is also the "white board" paper, which is just the abbreviation of the general quotation, except for special white cards, such as platinum cards, silver cards, etc.

White paper with gray background (also known as "powder gray paper:): one side is white, one side is gray, the price is slightly lower, and double powder paper is white on both sides, the price is higher.




The material of the color box is determined according to the shape and size of the product. Commonly used materials are: 280g powder gray paper, 300g powder gray paper, 350g powder gray paper, 260g powder gray paper mounted on E pit, 260g double powder paper mounted on E pit, etc.




According to the packaging weight of the product and the positioning of the product. Commonly used materials are: gray paper: generally 250g-450g, coated paper: generally 250g-400g.
