It is not difficult to understand single-sided and double-sided imposition printing, that is, single-sided printing or one side of each set of printing. The following mainly introduces self-translation imposition.

The significance of self-reproduction is that when the size of the printed matter is smaller than the printing format, self-reproduction printing can be adopted, and double-sided printing shares a set of plates to achieve the effect of saving plates, saving the cost of a set of PS plates, and is conducive to the economy of printed matters; How to print the front and back of the paper, that is, turn over the paper without changing the plate, use the same set of PS plate to print the front and back of the paper, so you have to wait for one side to dry before printing the other side, otherwise it will easily cause the back to be dirty and delay time. For positive and negative printing, you can unload the plate and print other printed matter first, and then print the reverse side after it dries.

Self-returning is divided into two types: left-right self-reversing (horizontal type) and top-down self-reversing (flipping), which is a set of plates for double-sided printing, and the paper is turned without changing the plate. To understand the two kinds of self-replicating, we must first understand the paper direction of the offset printing machine. Regardless of the size of the offset printing machine, the long side of the paper will be the feeding direction.

Left-right self-returning means turning the paper left and right along the direction of paper feeding, and up-and-down self-reversing means turning the paper up and down along the direction of paper feeding. For example: 16K and normal 8K prints are always copied from left to right when they are spelled in quarters and folios. However, the strip 8K is self-reprinted from top to bottom when it is combined into quarters, and it is self-reproduced from left to right when it is combined.
