On September 1, 2023, the 35th Academic Annual Meeting of the Papermaking Society of Seven Provinces and Cities in East China and the Academic Annual Meeting of the Papermaking Society of Jiangsu Province were successfully held in Nanjing Forestry University. Undertaker etc. Tong Guolin, secretary-general of Jiangsu Papermaking Society, presided over the meeting. Yin Tongming, vice president of Nanlin, Feng Shaodong, vice chairman of Jiangsu Association for Science and Technology, and Niu Qingmin, executive vice president of Jiangsu Papermaking Association, attended the opening ceremony and delivered enthusiastic speeches. The meeting also edited and printed the Proceedings of the 35th Academic Annual Conference of the Papermaking Society of Seven Provinces and Cities in East China. The Proceedings collected a total of 56 papers, involving "biological material refining and energy; pulp and paper technology; paper base and biomass Basic functional materials; pulp and paper equipment and environmental protection" four aspects. The day before the meeting, a meeting of the Secretary-General of the Papermaking Society of the seven provinces and cities in East China was held, and heated discussions and experience exchanges were held on how to effectively do the work of the society. The meeting also discussed how to strengthen cooperation, promote exchanges, and innovate the work of the Papermaking Society of the seven provinces and cities in East China. The meeting decided that the next academic annual conference will be held in Shandong, and the Shandong Society will be responsible for the implementation, and other societies will actively cooperate.
